Gopi is an avid Graphic Designer with a keen eye for details, which he executes advertently in his work at HUT. He has 5 years of experience in Graphic Designing. He started his career as a Textile Designer in Textile Printing and Embroidery after which he moved on to Print Media, designing various advertising and promotional materials for magazines. He is now working on designing projects for both Print and Online Media at HUT.
How is your job at HUT different from your previous one?
My previous jobs helped me acquire the needed skills as a graphic designer, but I was always looking for more space to explore, more possibilities to gain the momentum I always wanted to match up with the trends in advertising and branding. This was exactly what I got at HUT. I come across new trends almost every day and ways to apply my skills to bring out modern, meaningful designs not only suitable for today but also for the future. HUT has given me the opportunity to explore my creativity and designing skills that perk up my credibility as a designer.
What were your expectations at HUT?
I entered HUT as a Graphic Design Associate and currently designated as a Design Specialist. What I love about my job profile is it is multifaceted. I get to work on branding projects for all kinds of businesses – be it an established business that needs a total revamp or a new start-up that requires branding consultation and support on every level. My job also gets me to work on other designing projects like store interiors, company stationeries, and a variety of other promotional materials for both print and online media.
What are your plans for your future as a Graphic Designer?
Working at HUT enables me to utilize the resources that are available to me in a productive way. This also gives me space and time to develop my skills and creativity to a new level. I hope to establish myself as a designer who can deliver the expected outputs independently.
What are your other interests apart from designing?
I love photography and I’ve always wanted to do corporate and industrial photography. I look forward to exploring that apart from designing.
